It was my very first time attending to Neocon, held from June 12-14 at The Mart in Chicago.
One of biggest shows for commercial and business furniture trends, you can see the best of the best! 2 days of non stop inspiration! :)
We started the day visiting the Haworth showroom, with the lovely Galit, giving us all the details of all the new pieces from the European & American brands they carry like Haworth, Cassina, Capellini, Poltrona Frau, Janus et Cie, Gan Rugs and Pablo Designs.
So in love with the use of pastels colors and textures... Specially with the pale rose. An amazing showroom all very beautifully design until the last detail.
I also get to see the latest work from Pablo, from Pablo Designs. He was introducing the titled the Corner Office, a collection of lighting fixture + smart furniture units that gives new meaning to the term “Open Plan Workspace.”
We then went to the Herman Miller showroom.
We stop by Allermiur with some interesting pieces.
Steelcase showroom went for more strong colors.
Knoll showroom celebrating their 70 anniversay of Knoll fabrics with some previous works.
At the Carnegie Fabrics showroom having some fun and getting inspired by their fabrics.
Next day, I had the pleasure to meet Patricia Urquiola, probably our Spanish most famous designer in the world and big fan of her! So nice meeting her and talking to her, to just discover that her dad was from my city in the Basque country, from Vitoria! What a small world! :)
Super special thanks to Lily!
It was great to explore the convention together!
